Aqualand Poolside with a Purpose

A CHILLY CHARITY EVENT

SUNDAY, MARCH 5TH – NOON-3PM at AQUALAND.

Aqualand, the South Central Kentucky leader in pool and hot tubs, is joining forces with the Bowling Green Rockband Academy and the Bowling Green Amplify Foundation to host “Operation Stage Dive”, a fundraising event to benefit local children’s creative arts programs.

On March 5th from noon until 3 p.m., teams can participate in a “stage dive” at Aqualand’s Campbell Lane facility, where they will dress up in their favorite musical themed attire and jump into the pool to raise money for the Bowling Green Amplify Foundation. The event is modeled after the popular penguin plunges, where participants raise money by pledging to jump in the cold water in exchange for donations.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

  • Form a team, or go solo.
  • Register to participate by filling out the online registration form.
  • Gather donations from friends and family or collect a crowd and bring them to the event to cheer you on!
  • Pick out your best music themed costume. (Costumes aren’t required, but they are encouraged!)
  • Join us at Aqualand on Sunday, March, 5th from noon until 3pm.
  • Take the stage and ROCK OUT during your turn braving the icy water!

Awards and Prizes

After years of individual involvement in Bowling Green’s music scene and total domination with their private lesson programs, Jordan Weiss and Matt DeVore joined under one roof. Then they decided to invite a few of their friends.

Educated and experienced as performing musicians, BGRBA teachers are uniquely qualified to bring out the best in your playing. Besides offering private lessons, we offer our Rock Band program, a semester series designed and dedicated to getting you on stage with a band.
